Dr Sumit Chauhan is a Delhi NCR Based Career Counsellor and Personality Development Coach. His primary area of interest and research is Social and Humanistic Psychology. He Has proposed a revolutionary new way of balanced personality development through his research on “Theory of Dual Social Comparison”, widely acclaimed, it has the potential of offering an alternate method of counselling related to self-esteem and relationship handling.
His strength lies in mentoring and counselling Students and Professionals through listening, empathizing and motivating them to explore their interest aligned with their personality traits and enriching their Professional and Personal journeys.
As for his education and experience, he is a Mechanical Engineer from NIT Hamirpur, with an MBA degree. He has worked for over 12 years in various corporates like TVS Motors, Honda Cars, Renault before venturing into the Education Sector where he taught Entrepreneurship and Marketing at University Level along with providing Career Counselling to Top Schools and Colleges in North India spanning over 6+ years. Having keen interest in research and psychology motivated him to get a Ph.D. in Consumer Psychology.
With such extensive experience of Schools, Universities and Corporates, he has a unique combination of knowledge and exposure to successfully guide and mentor students and professional to a more fulfilling professional life.
